Family news

Our family welcomed Zayne Favors on April 29, 2026, at 6:01 a.m. Zayne is the child of Sophia Cerbone and Xavier Favors, born 7 lb 15 oz and 20.5 inches. I am grateful, humbled, and still a little amazed by the way a family keeps finding new ways to grow.

Family first. Useful work. Keep showing up.

I have spent my adult life in the practical places where people need steadiness: court offices, retail operations, classrooms, and a very full home. These days my work sits at the intersection of teaching, family, and building open civic tools that ordinary people can actually use.

Family

Nine children, and a blended family taught me that love is not mainly a feeling. It is logistics, patience, prayer, homework, rides, apologies, and showing up again tomorrow.

Classroom

I substitute teach across Palm Beach County schools, often in long-term placements. It is honest work: learn the room, keep order, help students move one step forward.

Professional profile

CivicOS

CivicOS grew out of a simple frustration: public systems should be understandable, inspectable, and built for the people who live under them.
